After 34 years as a civil litigator, David Pryor launched his own law and mediation practices. While his legal work still includes litigation, insurance claims, personal injury, real estate, business, and agricultural law, he has shifted much of his focus to mediation.
David has always been deeply involved in the legal community. He spent nearly two decades as an adjunct professor at Capital University and served as chair of the agricultural law committees for the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, and Columbus Bar Association. He was also a co-managing partner at Gallagher Gams Pryor Tallan & Littrell from 1996 to 2017.
In January 2019, after 35 years with the firm, David stepped away to dedicate more time to mediation. His experience speaks for itself. Just in 2018, he handled 76 mediations, successfully resolving all but three. To support this work, David Pryor Mediation Services LLC purchased and renovated a historic building on E. Rich Street in Columbus, creating a space designed specifically for effective dispute resolution.
